Nick likes plants and insects, and how organisms interact to form communities.  He also really likes birds, even though he doesn't do much research on them.  Click here for his (probably outdated) CV.

Liz Becker

PhD graduate student


Liz graduated from SUNY-ESF and has worked in a variety of field jobs including with BLM and SERG. She is interested in restoration, invasive species, and sustainable agriculture. In the JDPE, she is co-advised by Jennifer Funk.

Camille is a soil ecologist with a background in chemistry and interests in arid land restoration ecology.  She received her MS from UNLV. In the JDPE, she is co-advised by Valerie Eviner.

Lab Alumna - Postdoctoral Scholar

Kendall is a soil scientist at Working Lands Conservation. As a postdoc, she studied the role of soil microbiome structure and function in restored and remnant prairies.
